Spokane Fall Mini Sessions: What to Expect

Fall in Spokane is pure magic. The leaves are showing off, the air feels just crisp enough for sweaters, and somehow every kid in town seems to have a new sport or activity that requires us to become full-time Uber drivers without the tips. If your weekends are a blur of snacks, sports jerseys, and “Mom, watch this!” then you’re my people.

That’s exactly why I love fall mini sessions. They’re quick, fun, and just the right amount of chaos to capture those belly laughs, snuggles, and “oh my gosh, when did my baby get so big?!” moments.

This year I’ll be hosting them at a gorgeous South Hill Spokane Park on Saturday, October 18th and Sunday, October 19th.

Why Mini Sessions work for Real-Life Families

Life is busy. Between preschool drop-offs, soccer games, and trying to remember what an actual date night is, scheduling family photos can feel impossible. A mini session is the perfect in-between. It’s a taste of a full session without needing to bribe your kids to behave for an entire hour. We’ll laugh, we’ll play, and yes, I fully expect at least one kid to show me their “silly face” that looks suspiciously like they just smelled something awful.

My Approach

Before your session, I’ll already know who your shy one is, who your wild card is, and which parent is most likely to blink mid-photo (spoiler: it’s always dad). I take time to connect with you beforehand so when you show up, it feels like meeting a friend, not a stranger with a camera.

The Spot

This Spokane park is full of fall colors, wide open spaces for your kids to run, and spots that photograph beautifully whether we get golden sun or classic Spokane clouds. I’ll also help you plan outfits with layers because we all know Spokane weather can’t make up its mind in October.

Your package includes: 20 minute session, 5 digital images (chosen by you form a gallery of 10-15 images). Additional images may be purchased. $325 + tax
