A Fresh 48 session allows you to freeze time and hold on to those precious details—from their wrinkly feet to those tiny fingers gripping yours so tightly.

You’ve picked out all the top baby essentials, decorated the sweetest nursery, and sifted through endless lists of baby names. You’ve wondered endlessly—who will they look like? Will they have your eyes or your partner’s smile?
A Fresh 48 session allows you to fully embrace this blissful moment. Those first few days after your baby arrives, when time seems to stand still, and you’re wrapped in a newborn bubble, just you, your partner, and this tiny, incredible human you created together. These sessions capture the love in those life-changing moments—every single detail. Because trust me, you’ll never want to forget how little and fragile they once were.

Roughly 3 weeks after your session, we will schedule your online Design and Ordering appointment, You'll choose your favorite digital images and/or printed artwork. Digital images will be available immediately.. Your physical prints, albums, and framed artwork will be professionally crafted and delivered right to your door .

When & wHERE do Spokane Fresh 48 Sessions take Place?
Fresh 48 sessions take place within the first 24-48 hours after your baby’s arrival, whether at the hospital, birthing center, or even your home.

When should I reach out about my Fresh 48 session?
It's best to reach out as soon as you know you’d like to work with me. For some parents, that’s in their first trimester, for others it’s during their second, and a few might find me right before delivery while juggling those last-minute to-dos. I only take a limited number of families each month, and while I try to fit in those last-minute requests, I can’t promise there’ll always be space. So, to make sure your due date is saved, get in touch early—before you’re too busy counting contractions!
While our sessions are not timed, typically a Fresh 48 sessions runs about 45 - 60 minutes. We'll pause as needed for diaper changes, check ins from the nurses, and feedings because, let's be honest, baby is the boss here. If they need a break, we take a break—no rush at all!
How long is a Fresh 48 session?
Is family included in a Fresh 48 session?
Family is always welcome! This baby is entering a world brimming with love, and I want to capture that in your photos. Each hospital has its own rules and regulations about how many visitors are allowed, and while I'll do my best to accommodate everyone, sometimes there are limits. If we can include family members, fantastic! If not, the session will focus on capturing beautiful moments of baby with mom and dad, and perhaps even siblings.
